You Mean A Lot to Me Monday

I was going to put this blog off until tomorrow, because Jerry's computer is broken and he is all alone, doing nothing, but making a mess. But then he decided to watch George Lopez, and seems pretty content. So here goes...

This week, is one special person, one special person that I have looked up to my entire life. When I was younger I lived for her acceptance, and wanted nothing more than to be just like her. My big sister, Jessica....and to me, Pete!

Me, Emmy and Pete

I loved Pete from the day I was born, and when I was first born I was "the best sister she ever had," and the only one at that. As I grew older I became the pain every little sister is, following her around the house, listening to her phone calls on the other phone, holding my breathe so that she wouldn't notice. She could be mean, but I could be just as mean. We had our sisterly fights, were we would chase each others with knifes, with no intentions of knife to skin contact, she would kick holes into the doors that I locked her out of, and we would fight over the front seat in the car. I would black-male her and say "I won't tell mom what you did, if you give me this (whatever it was that I wanted that day," and she would cleverly tell me, "Okay, it's yours but you have to keep it in my room," and I would agree.

I look up to her in every way possible. She is strong willed, and hard working. She is smart and will do anything for the people she loves. And now.....oh now....she is pregnant with her first baby. I have decided to take over my mom's role, I am just as excited as she is about this special baby. I can't wait until the day that Jay and Jessica hold their very first child, because I know they will be the best parents that child could ever hope for. Oh I just love that sister of mine, and I couldn't be any luckier to be her sister.

I love you! Thanks so much for being so strong, and there for me through everything. I always look forward to seeing you, and hearing about your life. I am so excited for you and Jay to start your lives together in your new house, with your new baby. :) I will never forget all the fun things we have done together and the day that you said to me, "I don't think your a nerd anymore." Oh how glad I was to have your acceptance. I won't forget making Thanksgiving dinner with you this year, and making 500 pounds of mashed potatoes and adding our ingredients. :) We can do anything together, and I love to be around you. I can't wait to spend the rest of time together. Keep that baby healthy. I love you Pete!

Love, Coco

So what do you think, Boy...or...Girl? I'll let you know March 1st! Can't wait! P.S I had a dream about my mom and this baby, the story will have to wait until another day. :)
